ABC7 is giving seven organizations $7,000 to Pay It Forward and help make Southern California a better place!

How can you help LaMusArt?

  1. Get creative!  Make a video, three minutes or less, about LaMusArt. Let them know the amazing work LaMusArt is doing now; and tell them what LaMusArt could do with an extra $7,000. Let them know how LaMusArt  helps improve the lives of people in Southern California.  Express why you feel so strongly about LaMusArt- get your point across and don’t hold back. Your video will make all the difference!
  2. Go to the following link ABC7 Eyewitness News – Pay It Forward and complete the submission form below and attach your video file where indicated.

Youth Orchestra Festival Day

 Los Angeles Music and Art School, LAPCA Orchestra (2:15pm)

The Los Angeles Philharmonic presents Youth Orchestra Festival Day at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 12:30pm to 5pm, featuring the Santa Clarita Valley Youth Orchestra, the Los Angeles Music and Art School LAPCA (Los Angeles Philanthropic Committee for the Arts) Orchestra, and the YOLA EXPO Center Youth Orchestra (joined by students from the YOLA at HOLA Orchestra). Each youth orchestra will perform for approximately 45 minutes. Tickets are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can pick up tickets at the ticket table on Grand Avenue in front of Walt Disney Concert Hall 60 minutes prior to each orchestra’s performance.
