Scholarship Program

LAMusArt is offering a limited amount of scholarships to students for the 2017 – 2018 school year (September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018) based on a combination of financial need, interest in the arts, and/ or demonstrated musical or artistic skills. Applications will become available at the front office in July and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

All Scholarship and financial aid recipients, including music, art, dance and drama students, will be required to audition with Ensemble Director for placement in one of our performing ensembles; Jr. Orchestra, Youth Orchestra,  Choir, and Jazz Ensemble.  If selected to participate in one of the ensembles, students will be required to attend  weekly rehearsals and participate fully in recitals and performances.   Failure to maintain excellent attendance and to participate in performance activities will forfeit the scholarship or financial aid.
