Zeina Baltagi

zeinaZeina Baltagi is an artist and educator.
She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelors of Arts degree in painting and printmaking. In the summer of 2013, she co-founded the Valley Print Studio, a multidisciplinary arts education and workshop space in the San Fernando Valley. In the summer of 2014, she brought this ambition to the youth of Los Angeles through the LA Music and Art School. Zeina’s objectives are to create a safe place for self-expression and to provide a foundation for art as a life-long practice. She guides students through the use of traditional media, emphasizing the imaginative skills necessary for approaching the elements and principles of design. In this setting, instruction enhances their critical thinking skills, problem solving, and social interaction beyond the classroom. Zeina’s favorite part about LAMUSART is how it encourages her passion in helping children build confidence and actively form their identity.
