Tatania Minguet
Tatania Minguet is a sales leader with over 18 years of consumer products toy experience. Currently, she is Director of Sales for Mattel Inc., the leading manufacturer of children’s toys worldwide. Along with her team, Tatania manages the Barbie, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Cars, and Polly Pocket portfolio for Target Corporation nationwide. Throughout her tenure at Mattel she has developed and executed strategic business plans for and additional Grocery, Dept. Store, and Electronic retailers including Kroger, Fred Meyer, Best Buy, Macy’s, etc. since 2009. Tatania has a proven track record of leadership and successful sales performance and was awarded the Hot Wheels Marketing Award in 2015 and Mattel Wonder Entrepreneurial award in 2017.
Prior to Mattel, Tatania spent over seven years with Playhut, the leading manufacturer in children’s licensed play structures. As Director of Sales, Tatania directly managed the company’s national accounts Wal-Mart, Amazon, Sam’s Club and Toys R Us while leading the efforts of the sales organization. Tatania indirectly managed an additional 100+ accounts on a domestic basis and successfully established international business which contributed to additional sales volume and expanded distribution.
Tatania began her career in sales in 1999 where she was a sales administrator for Sabritec, a manufacturer and engineer of custom interconnects for the aerospace, military, and telecom industry.
She is a proud board member for the Los Angeles Music and Art School. LAMusArt is a non-profit arts organization with the mission of offering underserved youth access to no/low cost multidisciplinary arts education programs.
Tatania earned her MBA from Loyola Marymount University and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She currently lives in Whittier with her husband William, son Robert, and daughter Helena.
