Anna Antonian completed graduate studies in music at the Institute of Fine Arts of the former Soviet Union. In 1984 and 1985, she placed in the Annual Republican Competition of Stringed instruments in Armenia. She played in Madrigal orchestra and National Chamber Orchestra for seven years touring Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia and appearing on public radio and television.

Anna immigrated to the United States in 1992 and has been teaching violin at the Los Angeles Music and Art school since 1993.
