Nick Mendez Del Valle
A graduate of the Colburn Music Academy and the USC Thornton School of Music, Nicholas Mendez is currently pursuing a master’s degree in piano performance at USC. He has been featured on shows such as NPR’s From The Top and has won numerous awards and scholarships, including the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award, Music Center Spotlight Award, Richard D. Colburn Award, and the Aspen Music Festival Greenberg Fellowship. Nicholas has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Wallis Annenberg Center. He has also played alongside orchestras such as the Santa Monica Symphony, Aspen Philharmonic, Mount St. Mary’s Orchestra, and the Colburn Conservatory Orchestra. As a teacher, Nicholas is passionate about sharing his knowledge and artistry with his students and strives to help them reach their highest musical and artistic potential.
