Nieves Winslow is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, recognized for their surrealist paintings, drawings, immersive installations, and soft sculptures. Originally from the Bay Area, Nieves has been creating art since childhood, driven by a sense of curiosity that still fuels their practice today. They hold a BA in Art and Sociology from UCLA and an MFA in Art from CalArts. Their work delves into themes of visibility and individual narratives, exploring how personal experiences weave into the collective story.
