I am very honored and excited to start 2024 as the newest member of the LAMusArt Young Professionals Advisory Board. As a Mexican-American woman raised in the Los Angeles area, my tight-knit family of five and I come from humble beginnings. Raised to value my roots, culture, family, and education, I am ecstatic to be a part of an organization that provides our youth with opportunities to explore and nurture their creative potential.
Many of us have dreams of reaching the stars in the world of arts, but don't have the tools or the means to do so growing up. Now, as a musician in my adult life, I know I can give back and mentor a younger version of myself. I earned my associates degree in the arts from ELAC and my bachelor's in interior architectural design from CSULB. I have been working in architecture for the past 8 years and in hospitality for a whopping 17 years!
Although I haven't been a musician my whole life, these last few years have shown me the profound impact music can have on an individual. I am thrilled to embark on this new journey, eager to contribute, and enthusiastic to grow alongside our vibrant community.
